Information saved on your device

The app stores the location you select—including its place name, coordinates, and time zone—along with your prayer calculation method, madhhab selection, notification preference, and reminder setting. This information remains on your device and is used to calculate prayer times, the qiblah bearing, and scheduled prayer notifications.

You can replace the saved location or change these preferences within the app. Removing the app removes its locally stored information according to iOS behavior.

Location search

When you type a city or ZIP code, the query is processed using Apple’s place-search and geocoding services so that you can choose a matching location. Apple may process that request under its own privacy policy. Salat Central does not request or track your device’s live GPS location.

Notifications

If you enable prayer notifications, the app asks iOS for notification permission and schedules alerts locally on your device. Your notification preference and reminder timing are stored on your device. Riley Studios does not receive a record of your alerts.

Data collection and sharing

• No user account is required.
• No advertising or third-party analytics are included.
• No personal information is sold or shared by Riley Studios.
• Prayer calculations are performed within the app.

If you open the Privacy or Support links, they are displayed in your web browser. Your browser and the websites you visit operate under their own privacy practices.

Children’s privacy

Salat Central does not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any other users.

Changes to this policy

If Salat Central’s data practices change, this page will be updated and the effective date above will be revised.
