Prayer times differ from my local mosque

Prayer schedules can vary because mosques and organizations use different calculation methods or local adjustments. In Salat Central, open the menu to review the calculation method and madhhab settings. When a trusted local mosque publishes its own schedule, follow its guidance.

My location is incorrect

Open the menu and choose Change city or ZIP. Enter a city, region, country, or postal code, then select the intended place from the suggestions. Salat Central uses the time zone attached to the location you select.

Notifications are not appearing

Confirm that notifications are enabled inside Salat Central, then check Settings → Notifications → Salat Central on your iPhone. If needed, turn notifications off and back on inside the app so the schedule can be refreshed.

About the qiblah direction

The app displays a calculated bearing measured clockwise from north for your selected location. It is a directional reference, not a live magnetic compass. Use your device compass to face the displayed bearing.

About the prayer guide

The guide is a beginner introduction to one commonly taught Sunni form of ṣalāh. Recognized schools, teachers, health needs, travel circumstances, and congregational roles may differ in valid details. When in doubt, consult a trusted local teacher or mosque.
